Joseph Prach owned and operated this mine in 1972-73. He hired two other men to work the mine. In 1972 Joseph had two prospect holes blasted out of the granite. He then planned to doze off the topsoil and maybe open cut the ore, possibly going underground for the ore later. The vein was up to one foot in size and worked using only hand tools. The principle product was fluorite.
