Blackmer House

Address: 32137 St. Hwy. 103, Bergen Park

The house was built in 1940 by a Mr. Blackmer, a local cattle rancher, as his "dream house." He was unable to complete it, and as a result, never lived in the house. In the 1960s the Hiwan Country Club owned it and it became the residence of a professional golfer. The architectural style is Richardsonian with rustic elements.
