Apple Orchard

Address: Southwest portion of the Department of Energy Rocky Flats Plant overlooking Woman Creek to the east.

The orchard is located uphill from Woman Creek and adjacent to several springs and seeps. The site may be associated with the Antelope Ranch site (#5JF474), which probably dates from 1880 to 1937. More than 50% of the orchard is now dead and collapsed with down trees. Fourteen apple trees survive.
