Mount Vernon Country Club

The Club House overlooking the Clear Creek Valley was built in 1922. Initially it served surrounding property owners, and in 1926 the cost to join was one hundred dollars. Closed during the World War II years, the club was operated by Eddie Ott from the 1940s through the early 1960s, and it continues as a popular club into the 1990s.
